Safe Hands Plumbing Ltd, is based in Carterton and is owned and managed by Steven and Lorraine Dalrymple. Steven first served a five year apprenticeship in the UK and worked as a marine plumber for twenty four years, fabricating pipework systems and installing them on board ships commissioned by the Royal Navy, before making the move to New Zealand. He then served a three year apprenticeship as a plumber/gasfitter, with a reputable Wellington based plumbing company and gained a further ten years experience in all facets of domestic and commercial plumbing.

After a long association with the Wairarapa, first spending long summer weekend breaks across the South Wairarapa region. Then marrying in Martinborough on a beautiful summers day, owning property in both Greytown and then Carterton. It was not difficult for them to make the decision and settle down here in Carterton to start their business.

If Steven is the face of the work force then it's Lorraine who is the driving force behind the scenes, after all, behind every good man there is a good woman. Lorraine has many years experience in project management and a proficient IT skill set, working for several reputable companies in both Auckland and Wellington. Together they make an exceptional and professional team.
